Situation: With increasingly limited resources and at the same time
increasing demand for services, two community-based health care centers sought
to reduce their costs and serve more people by enhancing collaborations between
their two centers. A vision was developed for what collaborative relationships
between the two centers might accomplish, but staff and financial limitations
inhibited the organizations from making this strategic move.
Solution: advance4 LLC worked with the two centers to profile their
vision. We then created a tentative plan for collaboration and strategic
initiatives designed to reduce operating costs and increase resources for
services. advance4 LLC then developed this plan into a grant proposal and
submitted it to a local foundation.
Result: $ 55,000 in funding was received to resource the collaborative
development of the centers.
