"The Board Training that you provided to us earlier in the year was very helpful
in that you were able to identify some of the primary areas of major importance
and need for our particular board, and customized your material to address
those needs. I received positive feedback from those who attended, and we are
looking forward to having you return." advance4 LLC Client
The governing boards of non-profit organizations are one of the greatest
resources for enhancing organizational performance, raising money, and branding
the organization. Many times boards are under-equipped, under-utilized, and
therefore they under perform.
Performance is increasingly critical to non-profit organizations. It is
directly connected to an organization's ability to compete for limited
resources (e.g., funding, market awareness, or volunteers. In addition, it
directly relates to how effectively an organization fulfills its mission. By
enhancing organizational performance, a non-profit can serve more people and
create much more significant social impact - long term difference - in the
lives of those served.
We work with boards of all sizes to enhance performance. If your board consists
of a number of new members, you may be interested in new board member training.
If your board is a good mix of experienced and new members, you may be
interested in advanced training. If your board is struggling with board
performance, you may be interested in a governance review or a board
development and performance process. If you are looking at new models of board
operations, you may be interested in a board operations assessment and
assistance with board enhancement or re-structuring. If you are having
difficulty filling your board, you may be interested in a system to recruit,
assesses, select, retain, and recognize board members.
All of our efforts focus on helping your organization to develop a system,
process or tool that will increase your board's performance and will also be
helpful long term, as you integrate the tool into your organization's
structure.
