"I was afraid you were going to just give us a canned process. But you learned about our organization - maybe more than some of us know. And you delivered a process that was customized to our organization. I think you are one of Cincinnati's best kept secrets!"
advance4 LLC client quote 2004

Without an effective strategic plan, organizations flounder. Many organizations lack a strategic plan, or have a strategic plan that was developed with the greatest of enthusiasm and then put on a shelf to never be consulted again - until the next planning process.

Other organizations have a great strategic plan, but such a limited segment of the board and/or staff of the organization was involved in developing it, that it becomes challenging to implement.

You know as well as we do that strategic planning is one of the most essential aspects of non-profit operations and organizational development - but only if it is done well and results in a planning product that the organization is excited about and will use.

Our process, like all of our services, is customized to meet your specific needs.

We develop a customized planning process for each organization that we serve - learning what issues you face, what the critical decisions are for the coming 3-5 years, how the critical issues interface with longer term issues and initiatives, and what will be required for your organization to be successful. Additionally, we use a number of strategies to engage a broad segment of your organization into the planning process, to insure that the plan is adequate, and owned by the organization as a whole.

We also work with organizations that have begun a strategic planning process and are having difficulty finishing it.
